Random Thoughts for a Tuesday

I just wanted to say how happy I am that I don't have to balance my checking account. Wife does that for us and always has. In fact, it's safe to say that I haven't had to worry about it in ummm...14 years. I wonder if I even know how to do it anymore. I used to balance my account every month and somehow, once we merged our financial life, it fell by default to Wife. Maybe it was one of those things that was more important to her than to me. Or maybe it's because I took over all the outside chores like mowing the lawn and weeding the gardens and she took over the inside chores.

Whatever the reason, I think I should tell her how grateful I am that she watches over this part of our life.
