A Brief Message of Support for Casey
I know many of you read both my blog and Casey's, and because I know how people are intrigued by the drama of relationships, I know you must be wondering what I think about Casey's recent revelation of her new girlfriend. On some level, beyond how it impacts our children, it is none of my business. On another level, Casey and I really are still friends. I care about her and will always love her. I want Casey to be happy, and if she finds happiness with Catrina, that is wonderful for her. I wish them both happiness as individuals and as partners, if that is the path they choose. I suspect I won't have much else to say about that - but did want to put my love and support out there for all to see. Thanks to all of you who continue to support our family, even in this new structure.

I a so glad you two can be friends....it will be better for your children.....I wasn't so lucky......oh well we do what we think is right at the time and we can't go back.....
Yay for both of you. Life changes are usually challenging, but the most important thing is to support each other for the children. And you are. :)
I just wanted to say I think you both are great for handling this situation with some much love and consideration. This very moment, I am writing a paper on lesbian divorces. It's heartbreaking what some people do to each other. Kudos to you guys for supporting each other.
Thanks, Dakota. :) Our lives definitely didn't take the route I thought it would but I am grateful that we have enough of a history to make it through all these changes without damaging each other or the children. I value your friendship. And for the record, yes Dakota knew about Catrina well in advance of me going public. :)
For Dakota and I, the kids are the central focus and I have been pleasantly surprised at how easily we work together for them...and to support each other as we start new lives.
You girls rock! Props to you both and much happiness!!!
Heidi
